March 15, 2018   CHICO, CA   Steve Standridge joined the Chico Fire Department as Chief at the end of January 2018. He’ll meet with the business community and general public at a Q&A “Lunch Hour” event hosted by the Chico Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, April 19th, from noon – 1pm at Fire Station 5 located at 1777 Manzanita Avenue in Chico. This meeting is free and open to the public; RSVPs required.

Chamber CEO Katie Simmons says, “We’re excited to welcome Chief Standridge to the helm of the Fire Department and to the Chico community. Hosting this Q&A session allows us to introduce the Chief to the business community and to learn more about his plans for the Chico Fire Department. We encourage our members and local business and community leaders to attend.”

Chief Standridge says, “It’s a privilege to be leading the Chico Fire Department and to have this opportunity to meet with members of our local business community. Relationships are critical to the success of the Fire Department and I am a firm believer in getting to know my community. Learning the priorities of local businesses allows us to respond and engage in ways that make sense and build our quality of life, which I know is a top concern for the Chico Chamber. I hope to meet as many business leaders as possible at this Q&A session.”

This event is free and open to the public. RSVPs are required by contacting the Chico Chamber of Commerce at or 530-891.5556.
