2017 Community Vision Report Now Available
Dear Partners and Members,
On behalf of our Board of Directors, we offer you the 2017 Community Vision report to kick off an important community conversation about taking responsibility for Chico's future.
Major businesses tell us we're at a tipping point. We must take steps to immediately preserve and enhance Chico's quality of life, a major factor in the health of our local economy and community.
This report builds on our Community Vision to make Chico the safest, most vibrant, premier city in the North State. We outline the strengths and weaknesses of the community assets essential to Chico's quality of life, like roads, police, and parks. And we underscore the growing trend toward privatization of public services given limited City revenues and growing expenditures.
Read our 2017 Community Vision report and tell us what you would do if the future of Chico was in your hands.
